Bart Johnsen-Harris with the Trust for Public Lands and David Shadburn with the League of Conservation Voters will provide a brief overview of the context and the role of the Environmental Appopriations Coalition. Then\, NRDC Director of Federal Affairs and former House Parliamentarian Kyle Jones will walk through the basics of Congress’s annual budgeting process. We will have a brief period for Q&A after the presentation. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how this arcane yet extremely important process works and to ask questions of an expert!
