DESCRIPTION:The IDEAL program and NCEJN invite you to a webinar on Bringing Data Sovereignty into Participatory Sciences. Anna Woodroof\, a researcher and program manager at IDEAL\, will facilitate a conversation with Hali Dardar\, a Houma scholar who created the Uke’ Contracting System for data sovereignty in the context of oral histories. We’ll also hear from Kurt Naquin\, a Houma scholar\, writer\, and community-engaged researcher\, and Caren Cooper\, director of IDEAL and professor of public science.
