Beatrice Baxley (she/her) is an EJ scholar and activist. She will graduate with an Environmental Studies and Sustainability B.A. from Drexel University in September. She’s split her time between Lenapehoking (Philadelphia) and Ajusher (NC) for the last several years, and is looking forward to being back in her home state full time. She has worked with NCEJN as an intern since March of 2025, helping with community science projects and advocacy campaigns and learning about NCEJN’s internal structure. Beatrice joined the team full time in July 2026 as Operations Coordinator, supporting NCEJN and partner organizations with financial and operational systems. Independently, she is dedicated to the causes of local climate resiliency and organizing, land back, community owned science, resistance to global and internal imperialism, and the rights of nature.
