Want to better understand the environmental harms of generative “AI” and find out how to push back against data center construction and the uncritical adoption of generative “AI”? Come to AAUP NC’s expert panel event!

This panel will be a conversation between experts from the North Carolina Environmental Justice Network (NCEJN), NC Warn, Clean Water for North Carolina, and Community Land and Power. This panel will help you understand the connections between generative “AI” use, data centers, and environmental harms. Panelists will also discuss community organizing strategies that can help you take action in your community. After the panel, we’ll have snacks, conversation, swag, and button making. Come hang out with AAUP NC and your NC State community and start planning the actions you will take to make a difference!
