By cutting funds to lifesaving research and medical care, the Trump administration is abandoning families who are suffering and costing taxpayers billions of dollars. These cuts are dangerous to our health, and dangerous to our economy.
On Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 workers across the country are standing up and demanding NO cuts to education and life-saving research. Join the call by the local union chapters at NCSU (UE Local 150), UNC (UE Local 150) and Duke (SEIU local 27) to “confront key state and federal leaders, including U.S. Senators Ted Budd and Thom Tillis. Letters and cards from the attendees of the rally will be sent to their offices, showing widespread support for our cause.
