This event will feature partner organizations and offer a deep dive into Dr. King’s enduring legacy. We will explore how King’s legacy challenges us to face uncomfortable truths and how his message remains vital in the fight for justice, both locally and globally.
Throughout the event, we’ll re-air some of Dr. King’s most powerful speeches, examined through the lens of today’s ongoing national crises. As Dr. King wisely said, “We still have a choice today: nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation.” These words transcend their original context, speaking to an eternal truth—that our destinies are bound together and that justice delayed anywhere is justice threatened everywhere.
