Duke Respect Durham has built a broad-based coalition of over 25 local organizations calling on Duke to pay their fair share as more equitable neighbors and democratic partners through a payment-in-lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreement. Duke Respect Durham is evolving into Durham Rising: a powerful coalition the Union of Southern Service Workers (USSW), Durham Association of Educators (DAE), Duke Graduate Students Union (DGSU), UE 150, Siembra, Durham for All, and NC Triangle Democratic Socialists of America (NCTDSA). Join them at the Town Hall Meeting.
