Join: Peace Hill at Avila will be hosting Footsteps Ahead of Ours: A cultural review of the first occupants of Orange and Durham counties on Sept. 26 • 5:00 PM— Sept. 27 • 7:00 PM at Avila Center for Community Leadership, led by Beverly Scarlett. As part of the event, participants will visit the historic burial sites in Hillsborough maintained by Indigenous Memories. The retreat will also feature the Hillsborough Legacy Project.
