There will be representatives from Greenfield Trust, US EPA Superfund office, and NC Department of Environmental Quality to try to answer your questions. (581 Trestle Rd.

Mon. March 20 at 6:00 pm – Down East Coal Ash Environmental and Social Justice Coalition is seeking your support at the rally ahead of the Public Witness Hearing for Duke Energy Progress application to raise electric rates. The rally will be immediately before the hearing at the Greene County Courthouse, 301 N. Green Street, Courtroom 1, Snow Hill, NC. See all rate hearings here.

Sat. March 25 at 10:00 am – Environmental Justice and EJ Executive Order Community Input Session #2 pertaining to Executive Order 246. This event has been organized by the Governor’s Office and his representatives. There is no registration requirement but we would appreciate you signing up to ensure sufficient seating and catering arrangements. Register here.
